LAPD to meet with WV neighbors Tuesday March 13

On Tuesday March 13 an LAPD substation will be located at the corner of Harold Henry Park on 9th and Lucerne from 11am-2pm .  The officers will be available to speak with neighbors about their neighborhood concerns.

*There is a possibility that President Trump will be in town that day and the substation will fold or be disbanded early.

WVA Food Drive This Saturday 12/16

Please join your neighbors in helping to fight hunger this holiday season. Windsor Village Association has teamed with LA Food Bank to host a food drive. There are two ways to contribute. Our neighborhood has a virtual drive set up here:

Or you can bring canned foods, new toothbrushes, etc. to Harold Henry Park this Saturday, Dec 16 from 9 am to 1 pm.  We will have a table set up on the eastern side of the park near Windsor Blvd.

Windsor Village Association Annual Meeting and Election

Please join us for the Windsor Village Association Annual Meeting and Election, this Sunday, November 12, from 3 to 5pm at former president Diane Dicksteen’s home, 901 S Lucerne Blvd.

Residents in attendance will be able to participate in the meeting, vote for new Board members, and enjoy refreshments donated to the Association from Gus’s Fried Chicken and Cake Monkey Bakery.

Windsor Village 2017 Board Elections

The Windsor Village Association Board will hold its election at our Annual Meeting, scheduled for Sunday, November 12, 2017, as specified in our bylaws. We are looking to fill up to five seats. Each seat will be for a two-year, renewable term. The meeting will be at the home of Diane Dicksteen, 901 S Lucerne Blvd. from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.

Here are the requirements for Board election:

  • Residence in Windsor Village;
  • Willingness to attend at least 6 monthly Board meetings per year; and
  • Desire to work with your neighbors for the betterment of our community.

The Windsor Village Association is a 501(c)4 organization. All Board members are volunteers. There is neither financial compensation nor obligation to serve on the Board.

Here is how the process will work:

We are accepting nominations through Friday, November 03, 2017. You may nominate yourself or someone else (with their permission, please!). Send your nominations to and include the following:

  1. Name of Nominee;
  2. Street Address;
  3. Email Address; and
  4. Brief Candidate’s Statement.

We will publish the names and candidates’ statements (not addresses) on the WV-Watch,, and this website prior to our Annual Meeting date.

Voting will occur at our Annual Meeting. In order to vote, you must be a resident of Windsor Village and at least 18 years of age. You must be in attendance to vote (no mail-in or proxy votes can be accepted per our bylaws). Although the meeting is usually one hour, voting will only take a few minutes.

After a count verified by an impartial third party, we will contact the winners and announce the results.
