Early Monday morning, after more than a year of planning, design and collaboration, there was an official groundbreaking for Harold Henry Park’s renovations. Presided by Councilman Tom LaBonge (CD4), the ceremony provided the opportunity for the community to thank the Council office for making the renovations a reality. Julie Stromberg, chair of the Friends of Harold Henry Park Committee of the Windsor Village Association, gave a heartfelt speech on the importance of this park in our community, and called out Ben Seinfeld (CD4 Field Deputy) and Craig Raines (Rec & Parks Landscape Architect) for their extraordinary efforts in making it happen.
